Alternative Craft Fair [Dec. 13th, 2004|05:31 pm]
Hello! Saturday's alternative fair at the [info]thingsfromhere was such fun, and a lovely way to end a rather sorry string of craft UNfairs. I was also in charge of the mulled wine, which kept everyone mellowed. Here's a few pics (Note: Santa pictures may not be suitable for young children)

Here's the famous guy now:

the group of hard working, hard mulled wine drinking vendors....

and here's Tom Bugs, who was very popular as MR NOISE....

especially with the cutest kids.

Alternative Craft Fair and Plug 58 [Dec. 8th, 2004|07:03 pm]
I'm so rotten at updating and then away I go- 2 entries in the space of 20minutes!

Just want to mention the Alternative Craft Fair, see flyer below! I also helped Milla by modeling an elf costume but surely you have no interest in seeing that! (no begging...i'm not going to post it)

and Friday Dec 10th I'll be the first ever stall at a Plug:58 records night at the Cube. Rasha says she hopes to have more artsy-crafty types so if you're interested, let me know. There will be a film, Double Biology, with the lovely Lucy Bailey and music and art-art and all sorts. From 8pm on wards at the cube cinema, Bristol. More information on my website.

Boa Boutique opening- Fantastique! [Dec. 8th, 2004|06:50 pm]
MadebyMilla and Joey Fagtangpon and I went to the beautiful boa boutique opening- as it features our designs. It was so craft-affirming after such rubbish experiences at recent craft fairs. Long live the money spending rich! Here's a few photos and sorry I don't know how to lj cut or enter other users as friends so you can go to their accounts, sorry! (Help anyone...)

and some wiener winter wear in the window no less!

joey's stuff is in the bottom shelf of this gorgeous display case

great start to a-mart [Nov. 29th, 2004|10:50 am]
Milla and I made the journey to the far outreaches of Bradford-on-Avon to the opening preview of the art supermarket at the ale & porter gallery. We were so wowed with the effort- everything looked great- really professional- and there we were rubbing elbows with some of the most recognizable contemporary artist. Woo-hoo.

A couple of photos. Milla's always helped me post my pictures in the past, so hope this works...

the very popular, especially with tweenies it seems, tape measure wristlets.

those are milla's badges on the second shelf.

boo hoo christmas fayre [Nov. 22nd, 2004|09:37 pm]
[Current Mood | discontent]

well, the Bishopston craft fayre- a traditional fayre only in the sense that it had no heating, leaking roof and the proprieter expected us peasants to pay for his crap coffee. Nevermind. I think a total of 25 people came through. I sold one item to a lovely girl, Maddie, a musician who I've met a few times and bought some magnets made from a book of woodcuts found in Prague. However, lots of good crafty talk and crocheting was had by the likes of JK Fagtongpun, Milla, Teacake, H-P-H, and other gals too near to get away.

erin originals is backing out of the 4th of december portion of this Fayre as it is also erin's birthday and as Camilla rightly said, I don't really want to spend my 32nd in a cold, wet location.
